Frequently Asked Questions about our PEI Cottage Rentals

1. When I book a cottage in PEI at your resort, how far is the beach? Will I have to drive or can I walk?

Each of our PEI cottages are located directly in front of the beach - not just close by. Regardless of where your PEI cottage rental is situated on our resort, you will only be steps from the beach. You don't have to drive or walk a far distance. For your convenience, we have 2 sets of stairs that you can take down to the beach.

2. How much do your cottages cost to rent?

Pricing varies for each unit, depending on the size (i.e. 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom) and time of year. During our off-season (from May 1 to June 30) pricing is a little less expensive. During our peak season (July 1 to September 15), prices are a bit higher and we rent each of our PEI cottages on a weekly basis. For full pricing details, please visit our rates page here.

3. What part of PEI are your cottage rentals located?

4. Do you provide everything I need in the cottage like pots, pans and cutlery? What about blankets and towels?

5. Do you offer Wifi?

Yes, our resort is equipped with Wifi so you can stay connected while on vacation here at Lord's Seaside Cottages. We supply all our guests with the password upon check-in.

6. Do you have a laundromat?

Yes, we have coin-operated washers and dryers plus our famous mile long clothes line.

7.  Where can I buy groceries?

There is a small grocery store about 5 minutes from our resort where you can purchase mostly everything you will need for your vacation. If you require a grocery store with a larger selection, you can always go to Summerside, as there are several large chains there including Sobeys, Superstore and more! For those of you who don't want to go grocery shopping on your vacation, we also offer a stocked cottage option that you can order online before you arrive.

8. Will my cottage come with a fire pit?

Yes, each of our PEI cottages comes with a fire pit, BBQ, and a picnic table.

9. How far away are the larger cities from your PEI cottage resort?

Our cottages are located in Cape Traverse, PEI, which is about 20 minutes to Summerside, 40 minutes to Charlottetown, and 30 minutes to Cavendish.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

 If you cancel at least 45 days prior to arrival date you will receive full deposit back minus a $25 service fee.  If cancellation is made less than 45 days from arrival date you will lose your deposit.

 If you have to cancel due to Covid restrictions, your deposit will be returned minus a $25 service fee.
